Membership

The Scotsville School of Crafts is operated by the Lake Ainslie Weavers and Craft Guild, a charitable & non-profit organization. As a registered charity, income cannot be used to benefit its members, rather to further the purpose of the School which is to promote the traditional crafts for the education and benefit of the general public; further the public interest in the traditional crafts; and to assist in the instruction of these crafts.

To this end, the Lake Ainslie Weavers & Craft Guild and supporters of the Scotsville School of Crafts volunteer their time at various fundraising events. Donations are also gratefully accepted for which charitable receipts for income tax purposes can be issued.
